  • 1 tbsp Dried Basil For the dressing
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar or a natural sweetener, for the dressing
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt For the dressing

Method

  1. In a large bowl add the romaine lettuce and top the salad with the two peppers—red pepper and mild pepper rings—along with turkey slices and provolone cheese squares. Add cucumbers and onions too.
  2. Sprinkle lightly with black pepper and dried basil before covering the salad tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  3. Whisk together all the ingredients for your dressing in a separate bowl. Allowing it to sit in the fridge overnight helps enhance its flavors.
  4. When you're ready to serve, toss everything together with your homemade dressing or serve it on the side.
